HEALTH & SAFETY
Effective as of May 9
To ensure the continued safety of everyone in our diverse community, we are extending the indoor use of masks through the end of the school year. Please see more information below about the additional modifications to our protocols that took effect on May 9, and to read the full message from May 6, please click here.
Indoor Masks Remain Through Remainder of School Year: Based on the number of individuals in our community who have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last four weeks, wearing masks indoors will continue to be required through the end of the school year.
Simplified Contact Tracing in the Event of a Positive Case: In our current environment, detailed contact tracing is increasingly complicated and a less effective measure of reducing spread. We will continue to interview Covid-19 positive individuals to identify potential close contacts. However full classes (both daytime and extended day) will be presumed close contacts moving forward if the Covid-19 positive individual was in that space during their infectious period.
Test To Stay for ALL Students and Staff: All students or staff identified as close contact (from either campus or community exposure), and who is unvaccinated or not up to date on their doses are required to participate in the Test To Stay program to remain in school.
For up-to-date information and statistics on how we are containing the spread of Covid-19, visit the Health & Safety section on the website.
