Mundo Verde offers a bus service for families that departs from Lamont Park in Mt. Pleasant/Columbia Heights to our 30 P Street campus at 7:45am. We also have a bus leaving from our 30 P Street campus to Mt. Pleasant at 3:30pm, once the classes are dismissed. Mundo Verde will provide appropriate staffing for students riding the shuttle at all times. Parents or authorized pick ups are required to stay with their child/ren until the bus departs at 7:45am in the morning, and to be there when the bus arrives at 4:00pm for drop off in the afternoon. Mundo Verde will not provide staff to watch students during those times.

A new bus service will be offered for families that departs from Ward 6/7 to J.F. Cook and Calle Ocho Campuses. Morning departure time in Ward 6 of 7:35am. 8:00am drop off for J.F. Cook students and 8:25am drop off for Calle Ocho students. Afternoon departure immediately after school with 3:15 pick up at Calle Ocho and 3:30 pick up at J.F. Cook. Bus arrives in Ward 6 (Capitol Hill) at 4:20pm.

Kids Ride Free SmarTrip

Beginning October 1, 2019, students will no longer be able to use their SY18-19 Kids Ride Free SmarTrip cards to access public transportation. Students who use Metrorail, Metrobus, or the DC Circulator to get to and from school and school-related activities will need to obtain a new SY19-20 Kids Ride Free SmarTrip card. The cards are available, please contact our Office Managers at each campus.
