The Mundo Verde Growing Global Stewards Gala & Auction brings together our vibrant community– families, staff, and supporters to celebrate six years of empowering students to reach their full potential through biliteracy, outdoor exploration, physical activity, healthy eating, and community engagement.

In its second year, the 2017 Gala seeks to build upon the strong success of the inaugural 2016 Gala which welcomed over 350 guests and raised $100,000 to help build our new outdoor playspaces.

This year the Gala will continue raising critical funds for the continued development of the school’s LEED-certified campus. 2017 proceeds will support development of Mundo Verde’s commercial-grade demonstration kitchen. The new kitchen will allow us to cook healthy meals on-site,  involve upper-grade students in the preparation of meals, and serve as demonstration space for student, family and community classes.
